The History of Lee Keeling and Associates, Inc. (LKA) dates back to 1957 when Lee A. Keeling founded the company in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where its headquarters remain. Shortly thereafter, in 1959, Kenneth Renberg joined the firm and has continued with LKA since that time, currently serving as Vice-President. Originally providing specific and exclusive engineering services to the oil and gas exploration and production industry, the firm has grown and expanded its capabilities over a broad spectrum of expertise. It currently consults on all aspects of petroleum geology and engineering for both domestic and international projects. During its history of providing consulting services to the oil and gas industry LKA had a second office in Los Angles, California where it provided consulting services for the Elk Hills Naval Petroleum Reserve. That office was subsequently closed as business emphasis changed, and the firm now has an additional office in Houston, Texas. This gives the firm a presence in the center of oil and gas activity, both domestic and international.
